HOW TO CHECK YOUR ANTIVIRUS IS REAL OR FAKE
Some people make the mistake of thinking that antivirus programs are fake when they come up with false alarms during their scans. This is simply not true because of what I stated above. So, how do we detect what constitutes a scammy or fake antivirus?
1.) First of all press WINDOWS KEY + R to open run command and write NOTEPAD here to open notepad.
2.) Now copy and paste the below code into your notepad.
X5O!P%@AP[4PZX54(P^)7CC)7}$EICAR-STANDARD-ANTIVIRUS-TEST-FILE!$H+H*
3.) After that press CTRL + S to save this file, here save this file as W2H.vbs on your Desktop
4.) If your antivirus is real then it can allow you to save this file on your desktop i.e. It will detect as virus and delete it and if your antivirus is fake then it will allow you to save this file.
